Just $100 including postage Australia-wide will support and help our country get back on its feet.

Between Covid-19 and Bushfires… 2020 has been tough.  Like you all we’ve been sitting and watching in disbelief with breaking hearts at what has unfolded around our beautiful country and wondered what we could do to maximise our contribution.  Whilst we have made donations, we felt we could do more.  And as the media spotlight slowly moves away from the fires, the biggest time to support rebuilding communities happens now.
To assist the rebuild, we will donate 100% (less postage and handling fees) of sales of mystery wine comprising labelled or cleanskin.  The wines we are donating are part of our late Mum’s aged museum wines, her philosophy was to enjoy developed wines.  Mum has been the foundation of UMAMU and loved Australia in particular WA, so it is fitting that we share her wines for this cause.  We have priced this specially at $100 for a dozen (straight varietal).  All you need to do is head to the bushfire page and select as many cases as you like (where possible with multiple case orders, we will try to send different wines) delivered direct to your door.
Funds will be distributed between both BlazeAid who’s camps are working their way through fire affected areas in an effort to rebuild fencing and other infrastructure; and WIRES who are set up to assist wildlife carers working with native animals affected by fires all over Australia.
If you aren’t a wine drinker, we’ve included direct links to both our selected charities for direct donations just in case, as every little bit counts.

Thank you all.

A volunteer-based organisation that works with families and individuals in rural Australia after natural disasters such as fires and floods. Working alongside the rural families, our volunteers help to rebuild fences and other structures that have been damaged or destroyed.

Equally important, volunteers also help to lift the spirits of people who are often facing their second or third flood event after years of drought, or devastating losses through bushfires. BlazeAid volunteers work in a disaster-affected area for many months, not only helping individuals and families, but also helping rebuild the local communities.

BlazeAid volunteers:
Not just rebuilding fences, but helping rebuild lives.

Due to the months of catastrophic fires, 18.6 million hectares nationally, 20% of Australian forests have been lost. It is impossible to know how many animals have perished but it's been conservatively estimated that over 800 million animals have been impacted in NSW and over 1 billion animals in Australia since September.

Surviving animals are also facing ongoing challenges due to lack of food, water and habitat.

WIRES is providing national emergency support to licenced wildlife carers and wildlife rescue organisations with grants up to $5,000 for individuals, $20,000 for groups.

WIRES is also working on a range of relief and recovery plans to implement the best solutions to assist surviving wildlife and ensure the survival of remaining species.
