Produced from vines planted in 1997. 79% Cabernet Sauvignon & 21% Merlot
The fermentation was in a combination of open and closed static tanks and was completed in the tank before being pressed off skins at dryness after eight to ten days of skin contact.
The wine was then matured for 10 months in about one third new French oak from the forests of Allier, Nevers and the Centre of France
