Stylistically we release our wines after they have had time to develop in the bottle, a French approach for releasing wines when they are ‘ready’.

Appearance: Medium plum with magenta notes, youthful.
Nose: Fresh with good intensity, toast and berry notes, dark chocolate notes.
Palate: Smooth and mellow with lovely mouth feel. Nice palate weight with medium to fine tannins and good length. Some berry flavours with hints of chocolate biscuit.
63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc
Good winter rainfall and below average falls during the growing season with even and mild ripening conditions.
This wine represents a cuvee from seven different vineyard locations. These different locations have a range in altitude from 85-130m and a range of soil types which contribute a variety of flavours to the wines.
The fermentation was in a combination of open and closed static tanks and was completed in the tank before being pressed off skins at dryness after eight to ten days of skin contact. The wine was then matured for 10 months in about one third new French oak from the forests of Allier, Nevers and the Centre of France.
