"A deceptive wine-the first reaction is that it is simply immaculately balanced and poised, but then the power and the zesty citrus pith and aftertaste arrive. The white peach of the mid-palate remains untarnished, as does the overall integrity of the wine."

"Medium to full yellow colour, restrained for its age, and the bouquet offers toasted hazelnut, butter and honey, in tandem with a rich, full-bodied palate. Plenty of alcohol weight, but lively acidity keeps that full-throated richness dancing."
